401 STOREFRONT SERIES

The 400 Aluminum Storefront Series is a cost-effective center-glazed system meticulously crafted to meet industry-standard performance requirements efficiently. Notably, all components of this system are designed for interchangeability, rendering it well-suited for both interior and exterior applications.

Measuring 1 ¾” x 4”, the 400 Series is a robust glazing system capable of accommodating ¼” glass within a ½” glass pocket width, offering flexibility for both shop and field fabrication. Extrusions can be reinforced to adhere to more demanding performance standards. This aluminum storefront series seamlessly integrates with all standard entrance door hardware, accommodating various door types, including those with single or double-action door hardware.

HANDLING, STORAGE AND PROTECTION OF ALUMINUM

The mockup specimen for testing was a flat wall specimen, nominal one (1) story high, consisting of a 4 1/2″ deep, offset glazed, aluminum window wall system, measuring approx, 10´ wide by 10´ high (3 lites wide by 2 lites high). The system was glazed.

Compliance Statement: Results obtained are tested values and were secured by using the designated test method(s). The samples tested met the performance requeriments set forth in the referenced test procedures for a +1676/-2873 Pa (+35/-60psf) Design Pressure with missile impacts corresponding to Missile Level D and Wind Zone 3 for a basic protection rating.
