450 STOREFRONT SERIES
Crafted to surpass elevated performance benchmarks, PRL’s 450 Aluminum Storefront system is a versatile and optimal choice for exterior applications. Functioning as an industry-standard center-glazed system, all components are designed for interchangeability, making them equally well-suited for both interior and exterior applications.
The 450 Series, with dimensions of 1 ¾” x 4 ½”, is a robust glazing system capable of accommodating ¼” glass within a ½” glass pocket width. Whether shop or field fabricated, this series offers flexibility in fabrication methods. Moreover, extrusions can be reinforced to meet more stringent performance requirements. Compatible with all standard entrance door hardware and door types, including single or double-action door hardware, this aluminum storefront series ensures comprehensive functionality.

HANDLING, STORAGE AND PROTECTION OF ALUMINUM
The following precautions are recommended to protect the material against damage.
Following these precautions will help ensure early acceptance of your products and workmanship.
The mockup specimen for testing was a flat wall specimen, nominal one (1) story high, consisting of a 4 1/2″ deep, offset glazed, aluminum window wall system, measuring approx, 10´ wide by 10´ high (3 lites wide by 2 lites high). The system was glazed.
Compliance Statement: Results obtained are tested values and were secured by using the designated test method(s). The samples tested met the performance requeriments set forth in the referenced test procedures for a +1676/-2873 Pa (+35/-60psf) Design Pressure with missile impacts corresponding to Missile Level D and Wind Zone 3 for a basic protection rating.
